The International Advanced Certificate in Purchasing & Supply comprises of 5 units:

  1. Analysing the supply market – provides an understanding of supply market analysis and its importance to the purchasing process.
  2. An Introduction to Purchasing Strategy – demonstrates the importance of the alignment of purchasing and supply strategy to overall corporate objectives, and their impact on organizational success.
  3. Preparing and managing Contracts – provides an understanding of issues surrounding the preparation and management of contracts, and the implications of these for the organization.
  4. International Logistics – provides both an understanding of the logistical issues that organizations are faced with when trading internationally and an introduction to specialist techniques that organizations purchasing internationally will need to employ.
  5. Measuring Performance in Purchasing and Supply – provides an understanding of the purpose of, and techniques used in, evaluating the contribution of the purchasing and supply function to the performance of the organization.

Spread over 8 months, classes are scheduled once a week during evening hours / weekends. International exams are scheduled during May and November.
